We offer a completely flexible method of learning that can be tailored to fit around every lifestyle. Horses & Courses prides itself on being able to offer a wide variety of equine subjects that cater for every level of student, from the new horse owner to the experienced professional.

QUALITY
We provide every student with high quality, up to date learning materials that are produced by experienced professionals in collaboration with employers within the equine industry. All the information you require is provided in fully illustrated, comprehensive workpacks, sent out at three month intervals.

Every Tutor Marked Assignment (TMA) you produce is marked by experienced qualified tutors.

The assignments are checked by an internal assessor before being returned to you. A BTEC external verifier also makes regular visits to our centre and will sample a variety of assessments, checking for the quality of the feedback we provide.

This three stage process ensures you receive the highest standard of assessment and feedback and can progress with confidence through the subject matter.

CREDIBILITY
Obtaining a BTEC qualification is not an easy task, especially if you are fitting it in while working or coping with a hectic homelife.

Therefore we want to make sure that it is a qualification worth obtaining !

All our academic staff are well qualified and have extensive experience and success within the equine industry. They all hold teaching qualifications and have worked within colleges or universities.

Horses & Courses are accredited with BTEC and ABCC (Association of British Correspondence Courses) and are a member of the Princes Trust and Chamber of Commerce Training and Enterprise Organisation. So you can be confident that when you study with Horses & Courses you are in capable hands.

SUPPORT & GUIDANCE
Horses & Courses offer you a truly comprehensive support system throughout your study, so though working at home you will never feel as though you are working alone.

There is a clear tutorial system that leads you through your course, providing guidelines and advice from a personal tutor on studying, writing assessments and exam preparation.

When you enrol you gain free membership to our quarterly magazine. This helps you keep in touch with other students, up-to -date with equine matters,offers guidance and advice and provides discounts on books and other study materials. Our website also provides a valuable source of information and a chance to join in on on-line discussions and get in touch with other students.

We also run day schools, weekend residential courses and tutorial group meetings throughout the year and every enrolled student is welcome to attend.

Good jobs are becoming much harder to come by and many roles are increasingly more demanding.
