A nationally recognised qualification broadly equivalent to one GCE AS
Level. It is awarded by Edexcel,
an international awarding body. It is ideal for those who wish to gain a
recognised vocational programme as part of their continued professional
development or who want to work within the equine industry.
The certificate in comprised of three units, each with two written course assignments;

Unit 1: Principles of Horse Behaviour and Welfare (10 credits)

Unit 2: Principles of Horse Rehabilitation and Therapy (10 credits)

Unit 3: Principles of Animal Nutrition (10 credits)
The
course duration is 6 months (2 months per unit) and requires approximately 180 hours of study and assignment
work. You will need to be able to commit to approx 30hrs of study and the
production and submission of one written assignment each month.
